  1. GBS Glass Blowing

    Come and meet the gracious hosts of this fascinating studio.  Grahame trained in the traditional heartland of the glass industry in the north of England where glass making has a history of over 1300 years. He has over 30 years practical experience in the manufacture of specialist glassware and fine giftware.  These beautiful creations are well worth the extra time on your bike.
  2. West Shawnigan Lake Provincial Park – REST STOP 10:00am –1:00pm

    This small day-use park provides a sanctuary for Douglas Fir forest, as well as lakeside beach access on the northwest shores of Shawnigan Lake. This popular summer recreation area offers a wealth of outdoor activities, including swimming, paddling and fishing in the trout-stocked waters.  Park facilities include pit toilets, picnic tables and short walking trails.
  3. Silverside Farm – REST STOP 10:00am – 1:00pm

    Silverside Farm has lots to offer and is always a favorite stop!  Try their delicious frozen yogurt cones, take home jams, jellies & fresh blueberries. Home made pies as well as blackberry, raspberry & blueberry port wines.
  4. Merridale Ciderworks

    Visit British Columbia’s first Estate Cidery.  Take a stroll through the apple orchard and chat with the cider makers about their craft.  Recognized as “the best English-style cider in Canada”, you can enjoy a complimentary sample in the rustic farmhouse.  You will also be able to see the apple mills, presses, and fermentation casks where the fresh apples and champagne yeast combine to create this refreshing cider.  As a sponsor of the MS Bike Tour enjoy Merridale Cidery's Traditional and Merry Berry ciders at the beverage tent Saturday afternoon and evening.
